CNC Machinists

Benefit package includes, employer paid medical, dental and vision insurance. 401k, Paid time off, day shift with a 4-day work week. Mon – Thurs 6am - 4:30pm in a climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities:
- Program, set-up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and machine accessories according to specifications
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts onto the machine
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adjust as necessary
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the machine or machining process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
- Efficient in Mastercam software
- Experience with set-up and operating CNC milling machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of basic math for calculations and measurements
- Familiarity with tooling selection and setup for different machining operations
- Experience with Haas machining centers is a plus
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments for quality inspection purposes
